BOULDER FIELDSTONE
bold1rock07.JPG Boulders are rounded fieldstone, which is what makes them boulders. Boulders larger than 2-man boulder (basketball size), are ordered by number of stones per pallet. The larger the stone the fewer that will fit on a pallet. Therefore a 1-rock boulder is rather large (approximately 2500 + lbs.) and conversely a 12-rock boulder would be rather small, closer to 200lbs.

LANDSCAPE FIELDSTONE
landstaged003.JPG Landscape Stone aren't really roundish(like boulders) or flat(like jumbo slabs and garden steppers) they're somewhere in between. Landscape stones are often the centerpiece of the landscape design. Landscape fieldstone is ordered by number of stones per pallet and generally come 1 -6 per pallet.

TONNERS AND HALF PALLETS
halfpal16.JPG Tonners and half pallets of fieldstone or colonial stone are smaller pallets of Thin Fieldstone, Regular Fieldstone, or Thin Colonial. A tonner weighs approximately 1 ton or 2000lbs., which is where the name came from, and half pallets weigh approximately 1/2 a ton or 1500lbs. half of a full pallet. These are available for smaller equipment.
